Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup(s) sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup(s) cocoa powder, (Nesquik)
  • ½ cup(s) oil
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup(s) water, hot
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • ½ cup(s) cocoa powder, (Nesquik)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Brazilian chocolate cake

Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy, mix the dry ingredients together and slowly add them, then the oil, and finally the hot water until a soft mixture forms. Pour this mixture into a greased and floured or breadcrumbed dish (or roasting pan). Bake at 200°C for about 40 minutes. For the glaze, mix all the ingredients together and heat in a saucepan or microwave (4-6 minutes). Pour the glaze over the finished cake while still hot. Decorate with chocolate sprinkles and Smarties.
