Banana casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 bananas
  • 30 g butter
  • 250 g quark (cottage cheese)
  • 60 g sugar
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Plantain soufflé

Halve the bananas and fry lightly in butter. Strain the curd mixture, beat with the sugar and half the cream until fluffy, and season with cinnamon. Butter a heatproof bowl well. Layer the fried bananas alternately with the curd mixture and pour over the remaining cream. Place in the oven at about 170°C and bake for about 20 minutes. If the top bananas get too brown, pour over more cream or cover with aluminum foil! This is a recipe from Colombia! Buen provecho!
