Spaghetti with shrimp

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 200 g shrimp(s), cooked, frozen or fresh
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Parmesan
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. chili pepper(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti al dente; it should be nice and firm to the bite. Heat a deep pan, peel and finely chop the garlic. Add a generous splash of olive oil to the pan; you can really use a lot. Briefly fry the garlic, but don’t over-brown it, otherwise it will taste bitter. Now add the prawns. Important: the prawns should be thawed or fresh but cooked. Season well with salt and pepper. If you like it spicy, add a small, freshly chopped chili. Only fry briefly, otherwise the prawns will become too dry. Add the chopped parsley and toss briefly. Now add the cooked spaghetti, mix well, season to taste, and serve immediately. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
