Pasta with spicy arugula and shrimp sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g pasta, any
  • 150 g frozen shrimp
  • 80 g arugula
  • some basil
  • 1 chili pepper(s), dried
  • 40 g cheese, any
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Thaw the shrimp, wash, pat dry, halve or quarter if desired, and fry in a little oil until nicely pink. Wash and finely chop the arugula. Coarsely grate the cheese. Finely chop the chili pepper (if you don’t like it too spicy, use only half a pepper!). Heat the crème fraîche and add the arugula, mix in the shrimp, chili, and cheese, and stir until the cheese has melted. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta, toss with the sauce, and serve immediately, sprinkled with fresh basil.
