Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g walnuts
- 50 g cashew nuts, roasted and salted
- 2 chili peppers or small hot peppers
- 150 g Parmesan, freshly grated
- some salt
- some pepper
- 1 bunch of basil
- 1 lime(s)
- 1 lemon(s)
- some sugar
- 1 large garlic clove(s)
- 400 ml rapeseed oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
with pasta
Combine all ingredients, including the lemon and lime juice, in a blender and blend until smooth, or puree in a bowl using a hand blender or a handheld blender. Season to taste. Store in screw-top jars and cover with a layer of rapeseed oil. The pesto tastes great with fresh tagliatelle with fried salmon or spaghetti.
