Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g meat (gyros meat), seasoned
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinches of pepper
  • 1 dash of olive oil
  • 1 jar noodles (kritharaki)
  • ½ bell pepper(s), yellow
  • ½ bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 tomatoes
  • n. B. Water (salt water)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Prepare the kritharaki in salted water according to the package instructions. Fry the gyros in the olive oil. Peel the onions and cut into large, long pieces. Add the onions to the pan and fry. Add salt and pepper and toss well. While the meat is cooking, dice the peppers and tomatoes. Once the meat is well browned, add the peppers and tomatoes to the pan. Fry them until the vegetables remain firm to the bite (depending on your taste). Add the cream and bring to a boil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Finally, add the kritharaki to the pan, stir, and enjoy.
