Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 250 g pasta of your choice
- 5 tomatoes
- 1 mozzarella
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 cup sour cream, crème fraîche or sour cream
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp sugar
- some basil, fresh
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cook the pasta as usual until al dente and drain. Peel and dice the onion. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems, and dice them. Dice the mozzarella too. Heat olive oil in a deep pan. Add the onions and garlic and fry lightly, then sprinkle the sugar over them and let it caramelize slightly. Add the tomatoes. Simmer briefly, then stir in the sour cream and season with a little pepper, plenty of salt, and a little sugar if desired. Now add the pasta to the pan and mix well with the sauce. Finally, stir in the mozzarella and let it melt slightly between the pasta. Season to taste, remove the pan from the heat, and wait 2 minutes. Transfer to a pasta dish and garnish with fresh basil.
