Spaghetti with feta cheese and olive sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 tomatoes
  • 400 g sheep’s cheese
  • 4 onions
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 2 pots of basil
  • 150 g olives, black
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g olives, green
  • salt and pepper
  • 500g spaghetti

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, remove the seeds, and cut into cubes. Dice the feta cheese. Finely chop the onions. Thinly slice the garlic and finely strip the basil leaves. Pit the olives, if desired. Heat oil in a large pan. Sauté the onions and garlic. Add the tomatoes and the black and green olives and simmer for about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the feta cheese and basil and simmer for another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the spaghetti until al dente and serve with the sauce.
