Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g fig(s), fresh
- ½ liter white wine
- 1 lemon juice
- ½ vanilla pod(s), the pulp
- 100 g sugar
- some cream for garnishing
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Holiday recipe
Wash and drain the figs. Bring the white wine to a boil and add the whole figs. Add the lemon juice, the seeds of half a vanilla pod, and the sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes, remove from the heat, and then refrigerate to cool. Halve the figs and serve garnished with whipped cream, if desired.
