Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g penne, small
  • 200 g chicken breast or turkey breast
  • 1 broccoli
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 200 ml cream
  • 150 g mozzarella, grated
  • 150 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Pasta with chicken breast and broccoli, easy and quick

Dice the onions and fry them. Finely chop the garlic, press it down lightly, and then add it to the onions. Cut the broccoli into small florets and blanch them briefly. Cook the pasta until almost cooked; it should not be quite al dente. Brown the shredded chicken or turkey breast in the pan and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the cream, some of the cheese, the pasta, the broccoli, the onions, and the tomato paste to the pan. Mix everything well, simmer briefly, and season again to taste. Transfer the pasta and vegetable mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle thickly with the remaining cheese. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes at 170°C until golden brown.
