Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 220 g brown sugar
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 300 g flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 50 ml espresso
  • some powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Beat eggs and sugar in a bowl until creamy. Stir in cream and vanilla sugar. Combine flour and baking powder, sift over the mixture, and knead into a smooth dough. Pour half of the batter into a greased bundt cake pan. Stir cocoa and espresso into the second half of the batter. Spread the dark batter over the light batter and fold it into the light batter in a wavy pattern using a fork. Bake the cake in a preheated oven to 175°C for approx. 50-55 minutes. Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar before serving.
