Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400g mozzarella
  • some butter
  • 12 slices of baguette
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 6 anchovy fillets
  • 1 pinch(s) of oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Neapolitan crostini

Spread the bread slices thinly with butter. Cut the mozzarella into 12 slices, cut the anchovies into small pieces, and slice or dice the tomatoes. Top each baguette with a slice of mozzarella and a few pieces of anchovies, along with a slice or diced tomato. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and season with a pinch of oregano, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 7-8 minutes, until the mozzarella has melted. Serve warm.
