Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml water
  • 1 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 bag(s) of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 400 ml water
  • 2 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 600 g flour
  • 2 bags of yeast (dry yeast)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

The first 5 ingredients are calculated for 1 baking tray or roasting pan, the next 5 for 2 baking trays. Boil the water and pour it into a large mixing bowl, add the salt and oil and shake gently until the bowl is warm. Mix the flour with the dried yeast and add it to the warm water a spoonful at a time, shaking gently until the flour is completely mixed in. Close the bowl with a tight-fitting lid, vent it and shake vigorously. Finally, use a spatula to briefly stir in any excess air from the edges. Close the bowl again and vent it again. Place the dough in a warm place and let it rise. Once the dough has risen, stir it briefly with the spatula, then roll it out and add toppings. If you are making double the amount, halve the dough before rolling it out.
