Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g tomatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 pepper, red, dried
- 250 g Buffalo Mozzarella
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g pasta (e.g. penne)
- 1 small can of tuna
- 1 bunch of basil
- 1 tbsp capers, small
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Mozzarella – tomatoes – pasta
Finely dice the tomatoes and grind the chili peppers in a mortar and pestle. Cut the mozzarella into approximately 1 cm cubes and mix with the tomatoes, oil, garlic, and chili peppers. Let it simmer for about 1 hour. Meanwhile, tear the basil leaves into small pieces and drain and shred the tuna. Cook the pasta, drain, and return it to the pot. Add the mozzarella mixture along with the basil, tuna, and capers. Season with salt, if desired, and let it simmer in the pot for 1-2 minutes with the heat off.
