Spaghetti Diabolo

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 2 peppers, red
  • 1 bunch parsley, flat
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • 125 g black olives without stones
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • Cayenne pepper
  • basil, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

Peel the garlic and slice thinly. Wash the bell peppers, slit them lengthwise, remove the seeds, and slice them into thin rings. Wash the parsley and finely chop the leaves. Cook the spaghetti al dente, then drain and set aside. Heat olive oil in a pan. Fry the bell peppers and garlic until golden brown. Add the olives while warming. Add the parsley to the pan and season well with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the mixture, garnish with basil leaves, and serve immediately.
