Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g penne
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes or small vine tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • Herbs, Italian style (frozen or fresh), alternatively pizza seasoning
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Cook the penne in plenty of salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes and halve or quarter them. Add olive oil to a hot pan and sauté the sliced ​​tomatoes with the crushed garlic, stirring occasionally. Season with plenty of salt and pepper. Add the chopped herbs and sugar (if you don’t have fresh or frozen herbs on hand, you can also use pizza seasoning). Pour the tomatoes over the penne, fold in, and serve immediately.
