Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g turkey schnitzel, cut into strips
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • Oil, for frying
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely diced
  • Salt
  • pepper, black
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 6 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the turkey, dry it, and cut it into strips. Peel and chop the onions and garlic. Heat oil in a pan or wok, fry the turkey strips, add the onions, and sauté. Add the garlic and diced tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and a bay leaf. Pour in the tomato puree and crème fraîche, and season with oregano, adding more salt if desired. If you let the pasta or rice cook first, both will be ready at the same time.
