Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 orange(s), untreated
  • 1 liter of pure alcohol (90-95%)
  • 1 ¼ liters of water
  • 450 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 5 days; Total time approx. 5 days 15 minutes

Peel the oranges thinly, leaving the whites out. Place the peels and the alcohol in a large jar, seal the jar, and place it in the sun for 5-10 days. The alcohol will turn orange with sufficient sunlight. Bring the water to a boil and dissolve the sugar in it. Let it cool. Filter off the alcohol and mix it with the sugar water. Bottle.
