  • pepper, black
  • 600 g tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Tuna with spicy tomato sauce

Preheat the oven to 160°C. Brush an ovenproof dish with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil. Season the tuna slices with salt and pepper and place them in the dish. Wash the tomatoes and dice very finely. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems. Pit the olives – if necessary – and chop them very finely with the capers and basil. Mix with the tomatoes and, if using, the Marsala, and season with salt and pepper. Spread the tomato sauce over the fish, sprinkle with the breadcrumbs, and drizzle with the remaining oil. Bake the fish in a hot oven (center, fan oven 140°C!) for about 30 minutes.
