Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 vanilla pod(s)
- 250 g mascarpone
- 1 tbsp rum, if you like
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until frothy. Towards the end, remove the vanilla seeds from the pod and add them. Mix the mascarpone (and rum) with the egg yolk mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and carefully fold them in. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
