delicious Italian calzone recipe
Prepare the dough and tomato sauce. You can find the recipes for this in my recipes. Dice the cooked ham into small cubes or cut into thin strips. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions, roll each one out into a circle about 24 cm in size. Fold the edges in slightly and press down firmly. Sprinkle some cheese on each pizza, then add the tomato sauce and the remaining ingredients to the center. Fold the pizza circle into a semicircle and press the edges firmly to enclose the filling. Now gently pull the dough so that the edge is in the top center. Press and fold the dough into a wavy line. Carefully lift the pizzas onto a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let rest for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 225°C. Bake the pizzas on the lowest rack for about 15-20 minutes.
