simple pizza with tomatoes, ham and Italian Robiola cream cheese
For the dough, sift the flour into a bowl and mix with the yeast and salt. Add the water and oil and knead with a dough hook until you have a smooth dough, until it no longer sticks to the bowl. Add a little more flour if necessary. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil in a small pan or saucepan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the tomato paste and sauté briefly, then deglaze with the canned tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and basil. Cut the tomatoes into not-too-thick slices and cut the ham into coarse strips. Set both aside. Brush a baking sheet thinly with a little oil and spread the pizza dough on it. Spread the tomato sauce on top, then top with the tomatoes and ham. Finally, scatter the Robiola flakes on top. Bake at 250°C for about 15 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is starting to brown.
