Curry fruit sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 can of fruit (fruit cocktail)
  • 2 tbsp curry powder, English
  • 1 tsp, crushed paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Quickly prepared curry sauce, very popular with children of all ages

Drain the fruit cocktail, reserving the juice. Heat the butter and sauté the finely diced onion. Season with curry, paprika, and cayenne pepper and fry briefly over high heat. Now add the reserved fruit juice and the cream and bring to a boil. Then add the fruit and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Season to taste and add a pinch of sugar, if desired. We serve this sauce with crispy chicken fillet with rice.
