Tomato sauce without sugar

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml tomatoes, pureed
  • 3 small onions
  • 2 small garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese, natural
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Chop the onions into small pieces, mince the garlic cloves, and fry both in a pan with olive oil until translucent. Season with salt and pepper. Then add the passata and Italian herbs. Finally, stir in the cream cheese. Remove the sauce from the heat and puree with a hand blender. Done! It’s incredibly simple and has been enjoyed by both children and adults so far. If you like, you can top the sauce with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
