Potatoes with pasta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 300 g potatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp, leveled garlic powder
  • 8 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Hungarian “poor people’s food”

Peel and quarter the potatoes and boil in salted water for about 20 minutes. At the same time, boil the tagliatelle in salted water. Meanwhile, peel and finely dice the onions. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan and fry the onions until translucent. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool for 2-3 minutes. Then stir in the paprika and garlic powder. Drain the pasta, let it drain, and return it to the pan. Stir in the onion mixture. Drain the potatoes and add them. Add salt to taste.
