Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 250 g bacon cubes
- 1 kg potatoes
- ½ kg tagliatelle or lasagna sheets
- 3 large onions
- 4 tbsp paprika powder
- 300 g bratwurst, e.g. Sucuk
- vegetable oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Hungarian shepherd’s court
Fry the roughly diced onions, sliced sausages, and diced bacon or ham in hot oil until crispy, then remove from the pan. Lightly fry the uncooked tagliatelle or lasagna sheets, cut into roughly thumb-sized pieces, in a little oil, then add the roughly diced potatoes and the seasoning. Cover everything with water and simmer uncovered for about an hour. When the water is almost gone, add a little more. Then add the onion, bacon, and sausage mixture, mix well, and you’re done.
