Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1 large bell pepper(s)
  • 200 g meat (turkey, chicken or pork)
  • some spice mix (Chinese spice)
  • some cumin
  • some cayenne pepper
  • some garlic
  • 1 banana(s)
  • possibly salt
  • possibly soy sauce
  • 1 cup(s) coconut milk
  • some oil or margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Wash, peel, and slice the sweet potatoes. Halve the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and slice into strips. Finely dice the garlic. Slice the banana. Cut the meat into strips. Fry the sweet potatoes in a little oil or margarine in a hot pan (like fried potatoes). Add the meat when the sweet potato slices are tender. Season with Chinese spice mix, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Add the finely diced garlic. Season to taste with salt and soy sauce, if desired. Add the banana slices and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the coconut milk and bring to a boil briefly. Serve best with flatbread or rice.
