Plums in red wine

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg plums, pitted
  • 500 g sugar
  • 3 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 tsp clove(s), whole
  • 750 ml red wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 30 minutes

Heat all ingredients together, but do not boil. Let stand overnight. Heat again and pour into glasses. Tastes great in winter, warmed with vanilla ice cream, or simply on its own!
