One Pot Mac 'n' Cheese

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g macaroni (macharoncini)
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp mustard
  • 300 g Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 pack of processed cheese
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

quick, easy, cheesy

Bring the macaroncini to a boil in a high saucepan along with 1 liter of milk, 5 tablespoons of butter, and 3 tablespoons of hot mustard. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for about 8 minutes, until the pasta is al dente. Stir well every now and then to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Carefully stir in the grated cheddar and processed cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
