Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 350 g soup meat (thick rib)
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 tbsp soup seasoning (Vegeta)
- 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 white cabbage
- 500 g potatoes
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
White cabbage stew with thick rib – Serbian recipe
Heat the margarine and sear the meat on all sides, turning occasionally. Add the diced onion and heat briefly. Add the Vegeta, paprika, and about 1/2 liter of water. Add the finely sliced white cabbage to the meat and cook for about 60 minutes. Add the diced potatoes about 10 minutes before the end of cooking.
