Meatballs with Difference
The perfect meatballs with difference recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Minced meat
- 8 tablespoon Fine oatmeal
- 4 tablespoon Lowfat quark
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 pinch Piri Piri Chili Spice
- Oil for frying
- 3 Onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 400 g Mushrooms brown
- 800 g Chunky tomatoes
- 2 pinch Ground cumin
- 250 g Bulgur
- Knead the minced meat with the oat flakes, quark, salt, pepper and chilli until smooth. Shape the mixture into small balls and fry them in hot oil in a non-stick pan.
- Peel the onions and cut into rings. Peel the garlic and cut into fine cubes. Clean the mushrooms, cut in half, or possibly quarter depending on the size. Fry everything with a little oil in a large pan. Season with salt, pepper and cumin. Add the tomatoes. Cover everything and let it stew for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare the bulgur according to the instructions on the package.
- Place the bulgur on the plate and top with the vegetable sauce with the meatballs. Serve garnished with parsley.
