Lorraine flour soup à la Gabi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 40 g flour
  • 40 g butter
  • 500 ml water
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Soup Lorraine

Make a light roux from the flour and butter, deglaze with the water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Then add crème fraîche and season with salt and pepper. Serve with white bread or scatter toasted white bread cubes over the soup.
