- 250 g shrimp
- 1 small bunch of spring onions
- 1 tsp, leveled coriander powder
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 dash of soy sauce
- Black pepper, ground
- 30 dough sheets (Wan Tan), maybe more or less
- Oil, e.g. sunflower or rapeseed
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Finely chop the shrimp, spring onions, and garlic clove and mix with the coriander into the minced pork. Season to taste with a generous dash of soy sauce and pepper. Using a teaspoon, spread the mixture evenly onto the center of each pastry sheet. First, fold the pastry sheets into a triangle, then fold the tip opposite the long side toward the center to form a trapezoid. Now fold the remaining corners toward the center as well. Heat plenty of oil in a pan. Fry the wontons until both sides are golden brown. A simple and tasty appetizer or great as finger food. Serve with a sweet and sour dip.
