Gâteau au chocolat et aux amandes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g dark chocolate
  • 250 g butter (half-fat possible)
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 6 eggs, separated
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 75 g almonds, in sticks
  • Chocolate coating, almond sticks and powdered sugar for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt the chocolate with water over low heat while stirring, then stir in the butter. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until very creamy and stir in the chocolate mixture. Sift the flour, mix it with the almonds and baking powder, and sprinkle over the cake. Then beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold in the slivered almonds. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutes. To decorate, “stick” slivered almonds to the surface with a little chocolate coating and dust with powdered sugar.
