French recipe, delicious as an aperitif or for a party

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat). Place the flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. Pour the eggs, oil, and milk into the well. Mix the batter until smooth. Add the cheese and baking powder and season with a little salt and pepper. Stir everything briefly. Cut the ham into cubes and add it to the batter along with the olives, stirring gently. Pour the batter into a greased and breadcrumbed loaf pan and bake for 1 hour 15 minutes. After baking, let the cake cool briefly, remove it from the pan, and let it cool on a wire rack. The wire rack is important to prevent the cake from sweating and becoming wet. Cut the cake into slices, or into smaller portions for an aperitif, cutting each slice in half or quartering it. You can also freeze the cake and then thaw it in time.
