  • 2 onions
  • ½ tbsp vinegar – essence, light
  • 4 tbsp oil, neutral
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • Sugar
  • possibly cucumber(s), pickles or chives

Skin the sausage and slice it. Slice the onion into rings and mix it with the vinegar essence, 300 ml water, salt, and a pinch of sugar in a bowl. Stir in the sausage and 4 tablespoons of neutral oil, and season with salt and pepper. If you like, you can also stir in a few sliced ​​gherkins or sprinkle chives on the salad. Serve with fresh farmhouse bread or pretzels.
