Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 600 g leaf spinach, cleaned or frozen
- 2 onions
- 1 piece(s) ginger, (3 cm)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 125 ml cream
- 3 tbsp Clarified butter (Ghee) or oil
- ¼ tsp chili, ground
- 1 tsp cumin, ground
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander, ground
- Salt

Thinly slice the onions and fry them in the heated fat with ginger and crushed garlic until golden brown. Add the spices and fry for 1 minute. Add the spinach and salt, cover, and cook over medium heat. Finally, add the cream. Serve with basmati rice or naan.
