Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 750 g quince(s)
- 50 g almond(s) (flakes)
- 100 g honey
- 50 g brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp coriander, ground
- 50 g sugar
- 150 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 150 g flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Combine the flaked almonds, 50g honey, brown sugar, and vanilla, cinnamon, and coriander powders, stirring occasionally, and simmer over high heat for 1 minute. Transfer everything to a greased tart or springform pan. Quarter and peel the quinces, slice them thinly, and arrange them on top. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Beat 50g honey, sugar, and butter until creamy. Stir in the eggs, then the baking powder and flour. Pour over the quinces and bake for 30 minutes.
