Peanut sauce according to a Dutch recipe

First, slowly melt the peanut butter in a saucepan over low heat. Slowly stir in the milk (some of the milk can be replaced with water if desired) until the consistency is creamy. Gradually add the garlic and ginger, and season with ketjap manis and sambal oelek. Do not add salt, as ketjap manis is already salty. Simmer for a few minutes, stirring constantly, and thin with a little water if necessary. Serve warm. The sauce goes well with satay skewers. Variation: Try the sauce with French fries! The nutritional value of 250 kcal refers to 100 grams of sauce.
