  • 1 shot of oil
  • 1 shot of sherry or Chinese rice wine

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

In Chinese, the dish is called: “Ants crawling on the tree”

First, finely chop the ginger and garlic. Finely chop the spring onions, keeping the green and white parts separate. Now, cook the ground meat in a pan with water until it begins to brown slightly and small lumps form. Because, with a little imagination, this looks like ants, the dish is called “ants crawling up a tree” in Chinese. Then, add a little oil, the white part of the spring onions, garlic, and ginger. Then, add a little cooking wine, pepper, soy sauce, and samba oelek, if desired. Now, add the glass noodles to the pan and pour hot water over them, covering the noodles. Season with a little salt and a little sugar. Let the liquid in the pan reduce until it has almost completely evaporated. Finally, add the green part of the spring onions.
