Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 small radishes
  • 1 ring/s of meat sausage
  • 1 small jar of pickled gherkins
  • 2 onions
  • 100 ml vinaigrette with chives
  • 1 large Camembert(s), well ripe
  • 50 g butter, soft
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese with chili or paprika
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 tbsp wheat beer
  • e.g. pretzel stick(s) or pretzels
  • n. B. Farmer’s bread
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • e.g. caraway, optional
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a sausage salad with the pork sausage, gherkins, vinaigrette, an onion, salt, and pepper. Make an Obatzter (cheese mixture) with the remaining ingredients. To make it, peel the rind off the room-temperature Camembert and mash the cheese. Mix in the cream cheese and butter. Then stir in the beer. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and perhaps paprika. If desired, add a little caraway and some of the spring onions. Peel the radish and cut into thin slices or spirals, season with salt and pepper. Arrange everything in portions on a plate or wooden board and sprinkle with the remaining spring onions. Serve with fresh farmhouse bread and/or pretzels.
