Asian meat marinade based on coriander, ginger and lime

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 3 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tsp fish sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 pieces ginger root
  • 1 ½ tbsp, heaped honey
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 limes, the juice
  • 5 kaffir lime leaves or the zest of one lime
  • 1 bunch of coriander including stems, amount as desired
  • 15 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 hours; Total time approx. 10 hours 15 minutes

Marinade for chicken, pork or other

Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves and ginger. Blend them with the remaining ingredients in a blender. Add the marinade to the grilled meat and let it soak in for at least a few hours, preferably overnight. This simple recipe is enough for about 6 to 8 chicken breast fillets, or about one kilogram of meat.
