Quark dough donuts with stevia

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 150 ml milk
  • 8 tbsp oil
  • 40 g Stevia
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 400 g flour
  • 2 packets of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

from the donut maker

Put the quark, milk, oil, stevia, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl and whisk until fairly runny. Combine the flour and baking powder and mix thoroughly. Heat up the donut maker and brush the holes with oil. The batter should now be thick enough to fill a piping bag (I use a freezer bag, cutting off a small corner at the bottom) about halfway with batter, allowing the batter to be pressed into the donut maker holes. Fill the holes almost to the brim – if necessary, separate the batter from the bag with a toothpick or similar, and close the donut maker. After about 7-9 minutes, the first 7 donuts will be baked and should be immediately placed on a plate or wire rack to cool. The donut maker can now be refilled with batter. This amount of batter is sufficient for 5 batches, or up to 35 donuts. If you want to avoid sugar completely, you can of course replace the vanilla sugar with vanilla flavoring or a little freshly ground bourbon vanilla mixed with 1 teaspoon of stevia. If the rest of the family doesn’t need to worry about sugar, some of the donuts can be decorated with icing or something similar.
