Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g dark chocolate or couverture
  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 3 tbsp milk

Cut the chocolate into small pieces, add it to the milk, and heat gently until the chocolate has melted. Mix well and add the butter, sugar, and egg yolks, stirring constantly. Mix everything well, then add the flour and mix well again. Remove the batter from the heat. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gradually fold them into the batter. Line a loaf pan or small springform pan with baking paper and pour in the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 to 35 minutes. Caution: the cake may remain slightly runny in the center; this is how it should be.
