Spicy vanilla pudding

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 small piri-piri
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 1 small garlic clove(s)
  • 100 g rice
  • 500 ml milk
  • some sugar
  • possibly salt and pepper
  • some olive oil or other oil
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Vanilla pudding with rice, chili and garlic

Finely chop 1 small chili pepper (piri-piri) and fry briefly in oil. Add the rice, water, and salt and bring to a boil. Only cover the rice with water at a time and put the lid on (this is faster and saves energy). Bring the milk to a boil in another saucepan. Stir in the custard powder. Add the sugar. Simmer on low heat. Meanwhile, peel the garlic clove and press it into the pudding with a garlic press. Drain the chili rice and add it to the pudding, and continue to simmer, stirring constantly. Season to taste and add salt and pepper if desired. It’s worth trying! Preparation times may vary.
