Plum semolina dumplings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 60 g butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g quark
  • 350 g flour
  • 50 g semolina
  • 12 plums

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Knead the ingredients into a dough and divide into 12 pieces. Sprinkle some sugar onto the pitted plums and place one plum into each dumpling. Simmer the dumplings in boiling water with a pinch of salt until they float to the top. Serve with vanilla sauce or a mixture of butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
