Plum soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g plum(s), pitted
  • 750 ml water
  • 1 cinnamon stick(s)
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • some butter
  • n. B. White bread, diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Boil 500g pitted plums with 3/4 liter of water, a pinch of cinnamon, and lemon juice until soft. Strain through a sieve and bring back to a boil. Stir in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and thicken the soup. Serve with buttered white bread cubes.
