Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg apples
- some lemon juice
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 200 ml whipped cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes
Peel the apples, cut into eighths, core them, and cut into small pieces. Sprinkle the pieces with lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Place them in a saucepan with 2 tablespoons of sugar and simmer over low heat until soft. Then let cool. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form and fold into the cold applesauce. Arrange and serve.
