Shashlik skewers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork, diced
  • 200 g liver(s), diced
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red or yellow
  • 1 jar sauce (shashlik sauce)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cube of stock, fat
  • Sauce thickener
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 45 minutes

Season the meat and liver with salt and pepper and sear in hot fat. This is best done the day before. Pour water and broth into a pot. Slice the peppers and onions, thread them onto skewers with the meat, and add them to the pot. Cook thoroughly. Remove the skewers from the water. Thicken the water, add the shish kebab sauce, season, and serve with the skewers.
