Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g minced beef (not too lean)
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • ¼ tsp baking soda

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

The beef should be a little fattier than usual. It’s advisable to refrigerate the meat overnight. Preparation: Add the salt and baking soda to the meat. Shape the cevapcici into thumb-thick and thumb-length shapes. These are best grilled on a charcoal grill. Theoretically, there are three cooking levels: well done, medium, and still slightly raw inside! Serve with fresh white bread and finely chopped onions.
